Today I started my journey to take part in the sea teacher batch 7 program. I left with one of my friends who would also be placed in NEUST, Philippines. We departed from the airport at 1:00 p.m., and arrived at the Adi Soemarmo airport at half past 4. At 5:40 p.m., we continued our journey to Soekarno Hatta. We transit in Jakarta around 9 hours. At Soekarno Hatta airport we met our friend from UPI Bandung, He's name is Teguh. So, from Soekarno Hatta airport to Manila we departed together.

We left Soekarno Hatta airport at 4.25 a.m. Before arriving in Manila, we transit 1 hour in Kuala Lumpur. This is a very pleasant trip because this is our first trip out of the country and we can saw two different countries in one day even if only for a short time. After a long journey, we finally arrived at the Philippine international airport, Ninoy Aquino at 12.05 p.m. We must fill the arrival form and then we go to the immigration. After all matters are finished, we are looking for Mr. Marlon Valdez Rufino, he is our coordinator during our stay in the Philippines and he will also pick up us from the airport. Finally, after searching in several places, we also met with Mr. Marlon, and also we met with our friends from UniSka, Banjarmasin Indonesia.

Along the way to the hostel university, Mr. Marlon shows some historical places such as Rizal Park and this is the first time I saw a tricycle and jeepney, a traditional Filipino vehicle. I'm very excited and really want to know how the wonderful Philippines is.

Our journey from airport to Hostel University takes a long time, around 6 hours because traffic jams occur in several places. So, we decided to eat lunch first. We eat at Jollibee. Our menu is spicy chicken and spaghetti. After we are done to eating we continue our journey to the hostel. We arrived at the hostel at 6.00 p.m. We were welcomed by several people and also our friends Janu and Yudha who had arrived first. We were delivered to our room, I had one room with a Mutia and Dada from Uniska Banjarmasin. We were also welcomed by the dean of the education faculty ma'am Angelica Cortez. After placing the items, ma'am angelica explained about some of our activities here. After that, we had dinner together with Mr. Chris and his wife.  After eating Mr. Chris teaches several Tagalog languages ​​and also teaches us how to introduce ourselves using Tagalog because tomorrow we will take part in the flag ceremony and they want us to introduce ourselves using Tagalog language.

When finished, we go back to the room to take a bath and rest. Today we had a long and tiring journey but this is also a very pleasant trip for us.
