The material discussed today is motion.
Sir Boyet gave a quiz to the students and after they finished working on it,
Sir Boyet told them to discuss together the answer. When sir Boyet entered the
class, the students immediately shut up and watched. This situation is very
different from other classes which were observed by my friends. My friend's
class is a bit crowded, and sometimes heedless but not with sir Boyet class.
Maybe because sir Boyet is the principal here.

One meeting here is just one hour. So
Sir Boyet and I spent two hours for two meetings in a different class. After
completing my observation, I followed Sir Boyet to his office. He shows an
example lesson plan and told me about the material to be discussed at the next
meeting. He also gave textbooks as reference material for me to teach. Sir
Boyet is a good person, friendly and very helpful.

After all the activities in the school are done,
we go back to the hostel for lunch and rest. We don't have activities in the
afternoon. We spend time discussing with the buddies about the culture here. In
the evening we went to dinner at the MC Donald with Sir Neil and Sir Darwin,
faculty members of College Education who will in charge tonight. Every night we
are always accompanied by two faculty members from the College of Education.

Day 4. Thursday, January 17, 2019
On this fourth day, we did
not continue our observation, because the school was holding a mass event
thanksgiving before graduation. We only saw it on the second floor of the
school. We cannot follow a series of events because we are of different religions.
After the Mass was finished we were treated to eating with the president of the
university, lecturers, principals, and other important people.

invited us to go to Waltermart, one of the malls which are located not far from
the school. We go there with buddies. Ma'am Donna is a very nice person, she
bought me, Dada, and Mutia a stuff from Miniso. After being satisfied walking
around and all we need have been purchased we decided to go back to the hostel
because we had to attend the class at 2 p.m. When we arrived at the hostel we
changed clothes and then we went to College of Education to take classes. I and
Adi entered the same class in the general science department. No lecture in the
class that I will observe because on that day their lecturer was not present.
Finally, we only met friends from the department and went around looking at
biology laboratories, classrooms, and several other places. After that, while
waiting for other friends to finished observing we tried to get around the
campus using a bicycle, transportation usually used by students here to go to
their faculty building. This is my first time riding a bicycle. We went around
accompanied by my buddy Kristine and Adi's buddy, Francis. They talked a lot
during the journey about the buildings and history of this campus.

After driving around the
campus, we went back to the hostel. We are waiting for our friends at the
hostel, after that we will meet with the journalistic team from campus for some
interview. The interview finished around 6 p.m. We go take a shower, pray and
rest.
Day 5. Friday, January 18, 2019
Yesterday we attended the
mass event thanksgiving before graduation. So this day is graduation of 100th
degree and 116th non degree at the Dona Asuncion G Romulo General Tinio St,
Cabanatuan City. We went to NEUST Laboratory High school at 8:00 a.m. We
sat with buddies and our coordinator, sir Marlon.

We did not take part in
this event until it was finished. In the middle of the event, we decided to go
to the mall to buy some ingredients for cooking. After getting all the things
that we want, we ask sir Marlon to deliver us to the mosque because this is a
Friday, Muslim have to do Jumuah prayers. Sir Marlon brought us to Barangay
Isla. This is
the first time for us to go to the mosque here, and also this is the first time
we have heard Adzan, the call to prayer. We met some Muslims here, just looking
from the appearance, they are a little different from Muslims in Indonesia, but
they are very friendly and kind.

After finishing prayer we
back to the hostel to rest. At night we go with sir Percy and sir cellco to
Jollibee to have dinner together.

Day 6. Saturday, January 19, 2019
Saturday and Sunday are
holidays here. So, we don't have special activities. Today we just go to the
mall with ma'am Lody and ma'am Donna. We buy some things like tumbler and
moisturizer. Today the mascot Jollibee was there, we took some pictures with him.

In the evening, ma'am
Sheena and ma'am Nancy, the faculty members who will in charge tonight, invites
us to go to Gapan city night market. The place is not so far from the hostel,
around 45 minutes. They treat us buko juice, drinks made from coconut mixed with
ice. There are lots of Philippine food sellers, but we are afraid to try
because they put it together with pork. We are very happy and enjoy.

Day 7. Sunday, January 20, 2019
Sunday, this is a holiday.
Sir Chris comes with his family to the hostel. He brought some cakes and
traditional Filipino food. sir Chris taught us to sing Pilipinas Kong Mahal
song. This song is usually sung during flag ceremony on Monday. He wants us to
sing during the ceremony, that's why he taught us to sing the song.

In the afternoon we go
together to the stadium oval. We go on foot because it's just near the hostel.
We took a few photos and then go back to the hostel to take a shower and do
Maghrib prayer.
