PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am writing to apply for the Student Teacher Exchange or SEA-Teacher Batch 7 programme. Being a teacher is one of my top priorities in life. It has always been my dream to be able to educate and share knowledge with others.

Since I was in Senior High School, I have believed that physics is an important factor in life. All human activities in several fields such as information technology, medicals, engineer and other will run well if they are cited in a good physics framework. This circumstance stimulated me to attend faculty of Teacher and Training Education major in Physics Education.

Besides focusing on my study, I became active in some activities, one of them being a tutor at Setiagama and Yayasan Anak Negeri. And besides that, I also became a private tutor in physics at different places. I was very happy to be a teacher, because by being a teacher I can share knowledge with other people, to know the various characters of students, and I am happy because I can play a role in the intellectual life of the nation.

I feel I need to learn more about the education world, especially in the physics field. I hope with join in this programme I can improving knowledge and skills and then I can make this education world to be better and have a greater impact on others. And from this programme, I hope I can learn about new culture, language, and education system from another country.

Considering all the factors above, I believe that the chosen study will benefit Indonesia in general. I consider my self to be a good candidate for Student Exchange or SEA-Teacher Batch 7 programme because I am a young, energetic, hardworking, visionary, and motivated person who believes that I can do something for the benefit of my country especially my institution. I did my best with all maximum efforts I could give for my institution. But, this is not enough. Frankly, I am not satisfied yet with what I did. I believe that I can do much better if I am trained and developed through a Student Exchange or SEA-Teacher Batch 7 programme. I am very optimistic that I will be successful in making my dreams come true.
